Gazi-9 Wind Power Plant

Gazi-9 Wind Power Plant Project consists of 14 wind turbines commissioned in the district of Bayramic of the Province of Canakkale with a total installed power of 74.2 MW. The control building, the warehouse building, the turbine access roads, the turbine platform areas, the turbine foundation fabrications and the project access road, through which shipment of the turbine equipment is performed, has been constructed on a turnkey basis under the project. 

The Ministerial Acceptance of the last turbine has been completed on 12.11.2021 under the Gazi-9 Wind Power Plant Project in which the first excavation has been performed on 20.03.2020. Within a period of 109 calendar days, the 14 turbine foundations, the building concretes and switch foundation concretes have been poured, and the reinforced concrete works have been completed, accordingly. During the busy time of the construction site, the number of 157 employees has been reached. Approximately 15000 m3 of concrete casting and 1400 tons of iron installation has been carried out. 

Gazi-9 Wind Power Plant Project has initiated to generate electricity on 22.10.2020. It helps to reduce dependence of Turkey on the foreign energy needs through an annual renewable energy production of 231.7 million kWh.
